Locals call  this season the “Amihan.”  For rest of the year, wind comes from the opposite direction.

Boracay has two seasons, Amihan and Habagat. The Amihan is the most optimal for kiting. In Habagat, the wind changes direction literally overnight. While you can kite during Habagat, it is quite a bit warmer with more tropical storms.
